Mobile lighting vehicle with a 7-meter illumination range
This is our mobile lighting tower, and we built it for the night shift. If you have ever tried to run a job after dark with a couple of work lights clamped to a ladder, you know how miserable that is. This fixes it.
The mast cranks up to a full 7 meters high. That puts the lights way above your head, so you aren't looking directly into bulbs and blinding yourself. Instead, the light floods down over a huge area. You can light up a road repair, a parking lot paving job, or a whole construction site with just one unit. The lights themselves are tough metal halide or LED pods—they are bright, they don't flicker, and they throw a clean white light that makes it easy to see detail.
It rolls on heavy-duty tires with a decent axle. You can pull it behind a truck or a service body van, right into the mud and muck. The outriggers drop down to stabilize it, so even if the ground is rough, the tower stands straight and doesn't wobble in the wind.
The power plant is a reliable diesel engine. It is quiet enough to run in a residential area without waking up the whole neighborhood, but it has the grunt to run those lights for 12, 14, 16 hours straight. You set it, you plug in the timer if you want, and you forget about it until morning.
When the sun comes up, you crank the mast down, hook it to your truck, and head home. It is simple, it is tough, and it turns night into day.
